Christ the Redeemer
First tourist attraction of Rio de Janeiro and city's postcard, the sculpture of the Christ The Redeemer
is located in the Tijuca National Park on top of the Corcovado mountain at 710m above sea level.
It is the world's largest and most famous Art Déco sculpture. From the top of the Corcovado visitors admire a
stunning view of Rio.

Corcovado
The iconic statue, built in 1921, is situated on the rocky hill of Corcovado, at 710 m altitude. From the top, there is undoubtedly
the most beautiful view of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
How to get there?
Access to the monument is at 513 Rua Cosme Velho, from where the train leaves to the top of the rock. It can be reached by taxi, van or bus.
These are from Circular Lines 581, 583 and 584 (pass through Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana) and go to Cosme Velho, where is the train station.
