Leblon Beach

One of the best and most famous beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Leblon Beach is just near the well known Ipanema Beach. Nevertheless, Leblon Beach is more familiar than Ipanema. At the end of the beach, after a 10 minutes walk one reaches the Leblon Belvedere, from where one can admire a beautiful view of São Conrado (to the right) and Leblon, Ipanema and Arpoador beaches (left).

Combining informality and sophistication, Leblon is another reference in Rio de Janeiro. It was once known as a residential neighborhood. But nowadays, night and national and international designer shops also make a point there. The so-called Baixo Leblon is very popular due to the large number of trendy restaurants and bars.

Quiet Beach

Less trendy than neighboring Ipanema Beach, Leblon Beach is very popular with residents for its tranquility.

Belvedere

At the end of the beach, a little over the slope of Avenida Niemeyer and you get to the Leblon Lookout, where you have a beautiful view of the beaches of Leblon and Ipanema and, on the other side, the Vidigal.
